Things you should probably know about Dean…and the rest of the cast…
The Dean in this verse is not the same hardass that we see on Supernatural. He didn’t have to grow up as a perfect little soldier, so this Dean is a bit more free with his emotions.
Speaking of being free with his emotions, he’s a bit of a manwhore, but this comes as no surprise to anyone. Some things just never change about people.
Dean is pansexual in this verse.
He’s somewhat of a troll, often targeting Kate’s co-workers.
Castiel’s so-called “search for god” is actually him jumping around in time, trying to keep an eye out for Dean. He eventually just crash lands in Dean’s loft one night while Dean himself is masturbating.
Kate lives with Dean, only cause she still hasn’t found a place after hers got blown up.
Dean is the author of a series of books that are very similar to the travels of John and Sam Winchester.
John and Sam keep trying to hunt Dean down to ask him about the books…it keeps failing miserably.
Castiel keeps Dean fairly ignorant of the world that he was supposed to be born into, until he calls him from Delacroix, Louisiana, where he ended up after using a banishing sigil to give John and Sam the chance they needed save Adam.
Castiel ends up staying with Dean after he’s been rendered human. But it’s not like Dean gave him much of a choice anyways.
Everyone at the 12th Precinct treats Dean like their much adored little brother, which is something that Castiel is glad to see.
Dean gained hacking abilities at some point, he uses them for two things. 1, to troll Ryan and Esposito, and 2, to track down his biological family. But mostly to troll Ryan and Esposito…and occasionally Henrickson.
Henrickson only keeps his eye on Dean cause of his hacking ability and his relation to John Winchester.
